Alan is interested in the ideas of repetition and variation and sets up rules, whilst looking with interest at the natural wobbles that occur during the creative process. His drawings look wonderful float-mounted in a plain wood or whitewashed frame, each one a unique thought in Alan’s ongoing practice.
